Part of the Dao-Heuang Group, founded by Dr Hao Litdan and Leuang in 1991 with coffee production starting in 1998. Beans grow organically on the Bolaven Plateau in Champasak Province, a volcanic highland at 1,000-1,350 metres with GI certification for Lao coffee. Varietals include Typica, Caturra, and increasingly Geisha, prized in Europe and Japan as a base blend component.
